Office Bin & Cupboard Labels

The bins are hidden. Which one is which shouldn’t be.

Braille Maxxing puts braille and clear visual labels where people need them. A small addition that makes telling the office bins apart easier, by sight or touch.

The office challenge? Find somewhere useful information is missing - and stick it there. Start with the kitchen bins. Make an everyday task a little more accessible, without turning it into a project.

Then show another office what you’ve done. Give them a nudge. That’s how a few labels become a bigger idea.

#BrailleMaxxing

You don't need a business case to label things...

Braille, large print and raised lettering.

Our bin and cupboard labels combine raised braille with large, tactile lettering on a transparent background. Choose black or white to give the text a clear contrast against the surface.

...Or any colour actually... You can have gold or silver if you really want. Get in touch and let us know if you want something in your brand colours or specific text.

Who are they for?

Braille readers, people with low vision and anyone trying to work out which bin is which. Combining braille and visual text gives people different ways to find the same information.

They’re useful in shared spaces where staff, visitors and customers shouldn’t have to rely on someone else knowing where everything goes.

What can you label?

Rubbish, mixed recycling, paper, glass, food waste—or whatever collection of recycling streams your workplace uses. The range also includes cupboard labels for identifying other shared facilities and contents.

Can’t find the wording you need? Tell us. We’ll make the labels to match your workplace.

Where do they go?

Apply them to smooth, hard surfaces on bins, cupboards or drawers, somewhere easy to find, see and reach.

For pull-out bins, position each label so it’s clear which bin it identifies when the drawer is open. Consistent placement helps people find the next label too.

How do they work?

These are UV DTF transfer stickers: raised lettering and braille printed onto a clear rectangular base. The whole label transfers together, rather than leaving you to apply individual letters and dots.

Clean and dry the surface, apply the label, press firmly and carefully peel away the transfer film. Instructions come with your order. No special tools required.

They work on outside surfaces too!
